Pleasant Run golf course first opened for play in 1922.
Pleasant Run Golf Course sits on on slightly rolling terrain, but is fairly wide open. The greens are small. Water comes into play on over 1/3rd of the holes.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 5910 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5277 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 547 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 11, a par-3 that plays to 110 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 12, a 446 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Pleasant Run Golf Course is # 9, a 290 yard par-4.

Normally play this city course because of a Customer is 1 mile away and the early PM its normally wide open for play. For a city course w/6,000yds it offers good chances to post a low score with a couple of challengling holes to make it fun to play. Greens are always in fairly good shape and some fairways you need to "Tickle" the ball out of a bald spot once in awhile. Shot 80/37putts ($20) and being late in the season the course was very good. AM play I know is VERY slow with seniors taking over the course w/ discounts.
